Howdy Y’all,

You were absolute rockstars at our rolling into the new year bowling luncheon! Turns out, you've been hiding some impressive bowling skills, ladies!

Get ready for a month packed with fun! Our Love is in the Air event with ODYD is on the horizon on February 10th. Don't miss out on the chance to snag a free dress – they've got everything from snazzy Valentine's dresses to dreamy wedding gowns!

And mark your calendars for our February luncheon – it's gonna be a hoot! Dust off those cowboy boots, slap on those cowboy hats, and join us to polish up your line dancing skills before Wild West Night. Don't break my heart, my achy breaky heart – you won't want to miss this one!

Speaking of Wild West Night, mark your calendars for Friday, March 1st at the Lone-star Conference Center – tickets are live now! Don’t dilly-dally, grab your spouse, a friend, or make it a girls' night out. Get ready for a rip-roaring night with silent and live auctions, line dancing, bull riding, casino games, and a photo booth!

And lastly, don't forget to spread the word that our Grant applications are open! We're excited to share the wealth we've raised this year.

February Luncheon

Join us for line dancing and a burger bar at our February 'Achy Breaky Heart' Luncheon on February 21 at 11 am! This month's community outreach benefits the Fort Cavazos Stray Animal & Adoption Facility. We are collecting the following donations for the facility: towels, sheets, blankets, canned cat food, puppy & kitten milk, Clorox wipes and animal toys. Please bring your donations to the luncheon. Tickets are on sale until Wednesday, February 14.

Operation: Deploy Your Dress

January was a very successful month at ODYD. We deployed over 50 dresses and several men's suits!

Not only did we have several amazing events, with the help of our wonderful volunteers, we were able to count, re-organize, sort, and purge the shop! It was definitely a labor of love, but we got the job done and I couldn't thank the volunteers enough for helping with this task! Over 100 dresses were donated to Vive Les Arts to be used during their drama productions! They were thrilled to receive the dresses and we were thrilled to give them to an organization that will put them to good use! We also donated over 100 dresses to the Fort Cavazos Thrift Shop. February is going to be busy for us at ODYD with three private events, two general openings and a special LOVE IS IN THE AIR event!

Wild West Night

Grab your spouse and friends for an unforgettable evening at our Wild West Night on March 1st, 6:30 pm at the Lone Star Conference Center on Fort Cavazos! Our club, local community, and military will be coming together for a great cause - All proceeds go towards our community grants. The night's theme is 90's Country and will be filled with casino games, silent and live auctions, line dancing, bull riding, hors d'oeuvres, 1st Cav Division band performances, 90's Country covers and more! So, dress to impress by dusting off those fringe jackets, vintage country singer t-shirts, and your favorite 90s country glam. This event is open to the public. Presale tickets through February 9th are $25/ticket or $180 for an 8 ticket bundle. Come February 10th, tickets go up to $30. Tickets at the door are $35.

We would love your help pulling off this event. Please consider assisting with setup or the night's festivities. Volunteers who work during the event receive complimentary admission!
