Howdy y’all!

We’ve had such an incredible year together, and it’s bittersweet to see it come to a close. From laughter-filled events to meaningful connections and lasting memories, this year has been nothing short of amazing. Our fundraisers were a huge success—raising an incredible $94,000—which allowed us to give back to our community in a big way.

We’ll wrap up the year with one final event: our Grants Ceremony on Tuesday, May 6th at 6:00 PM at the Main Post Chapel. Join us as we celebrate the impact we’ve made and recognize those who helped make it happen. A reception with light refreshments will follow—one last chance to enjoy some smiles and make memories before summer begins.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Whether you’re staying here at The Great Place or heading off to a new adventure, know that you are appreciated and have made a meaningful impact on this club.

With rounding out our year of fundraising with Wild West Night, we were able to award 27 nonprofits with grants that collectively totaled $94,000. Thank you to our committee members who helped make our 2025 Wild West Night a huge success!! Thank you to volunteers who assisted along the way or night of! Thank you to each of you that attended and helped make the night be an unforgettable one!

FCSC Grant Ceremony and End of Year Reception

Celebrate with us as we honor the 2025 FCSC Grant recipients with check presentations, followed by light refreshments to wrap up our 2024–2025 Membership Year with one final gathering!

Community Outreach

This year, we have partnered with the Fisher House (https://fisherhouse.org/programs/houses/current-houses/texas-carl-r-darnall-army-medical-center/) on Fort Cavazos. There are several items that this organization needs in order to continue to serve active military and veteran families. We have created a wishlist (linked below) with some of their most requested items. When purchased via the wishlist, items will be shipped directly to our Community Outreach chairperson.

Volunteers Needed

We need your HELP! The FCSC has been given a wonderful opportunity to be a partner at the Military Spouse Appreciation event hosted by HEB on May 9th at the Lone Star Conference Center! We would love for anyone able to please sign up for a volunteer shift to help show our appreciation to other military spouses!
